We are always thrilled to play a key role in the formation of a marriage. First UMC Brazoria offers a modest sanctuary with an updated and modern sound system.

Pastor Greg has enjoyed conducting over 30 weddings in just his first 5 years of ministry, and always looks forward to the opportunity to guide other couples into a great and Christ-centered marriage.

Pre-marital planning sessions are required for any wedding conducted at First UMC Brazoria. We utilize Les & Leslie Parrot’s “Saving Your Marriage Before it Starts” series, and highly recommend it to all couples getting married.

Baptisms

Baptism is God’s way of officially welcoming us into the world-wide community of Christ-followers, as well as a local fellowship of believers. For more information on our understanding of baptism, please view the “what we believe” page of our website.

This section deals with the frequently asked question: “I want to get my child baptized in First Methodist Church, what should I do? ” The answer is: Call Pastor Greg at 979-798-2220! He conducts a personal baptism consultation with the parents, and walks through with them the meaning and scheduling of the baptism.
